After completing successful sample testing in April 2026, CMCL® Casters has received its first production order from a U.S. industrial bakery equipment manufacturer for a full pallet of high temperature caster wheels. The order will support a live production validation project inside the client’s high-volume bakery facility, where oven carts operate continuously under extreme heat conditions.
The customized caster solution is designed for continuous exposure to temperatures up to 280°C while carrying heavy rolling loads in 24/7 bakery production environments.
First Production Deployment for Bakery Oven Carts
On May 13th,2026, the client placed its first formal production order after completing several weeks of sample evaluation on its bakery rack and oven cart systems.
The production specification includes:
280°C continuous heat resistance
450 kg load capacity per caster
Reinforced steel brackets
High Temperature wheel compound
High temperature bearing structure for continuous rolling operation
CMCL completed production on schedule and shipped the order on May 20th,2026 to match the client’s installation timeline for the upcoming production trial.
This marks the first time the client will deploy CMCL high-temperature casters directly on a live bakery production line.
Previous Oven Casters Failed Repeatedly Under Heat
Before switching to CMCL’s solution, the bakery facility experienced repeated caster failures inside its oven cart system.
According to the client’s engineering team, conventional caster wheels used previously would often soften, deform, or develop seized bearings after continuous exposure to high temperatures. Under full-load operation, wheel resistance increased significantly, making carts difficult to move and causing unplanned maintenance interruptions.
The facility reported an average of 2–3 downtime events per week related to caster replacement and cleaning.
In tunnel oven environments where carts repeatedly pass through heating zones above 260°C followed by rapid cooling during unloading, standard industrial caster materials often fail prematurely due to thermal expansion and bearing damage.
April 2026 Validation Test: No Deformation or Bearing Failure
During the April 2026 validation test, CMCL’s high-temperature caster wheels operated continuously under full 450 kg loads in simulated bakery production conditions.
“This test gives us the confidence to move CMCL casters directly into our main bakery production line,” the client’s purchasing lead stated after reviewing the validation results.
30-Day Continuous Production Trial Begins
After installation on the first pallet system is completed, the client will begin a 30-day continuous production trial inside its high-volume bakery operation.
The evaluation will simulate real production conditions, including:
Repeated heat-cool cycles
Continuous 24/7 operation
Full-load cart movement
Long-distance rolling inside oven production areas
The objective is to verify long-term durability and operational stability before expanding deployment across additional bakery racks and oven carts.
If the production trial meets expectations, the client plans a phased rollout during the second half of 2026, with projected annual demand reaching 1,500–2,000 high temperature casters.
To support future volume requirements, CMCL has already started expanding production capacity and quality control processes for high temperature industrial casters manufacturing.
Applications for 280°C High Temperature Casters
The validated caster solution is suitable for a wide range of high-heat industrial environments, including:
Bakery oven carts and baking racks
Tunnel ovens and hot air circulation ovens
Food drying and smoking equipment
Heat treatment production lines
Ceramic and glass kiln auxiliary equipment
